Antisemitism in the alterglobal movement
About hardly no other topic there is such a big struggle in Germany like on antisemitism. The antagonistic positions harden and become religious character. Also in the alterglobalization movement there are discussions. No doubt that there are also antisemitic tendencies: Pictures with a child-eating Sharon, a golden calf at the WEF in Davos, Rumsfeld with Yellow Star, equalisation USA and Israel, the thick cigar-smoking capitalist with the big nose, comparisons with grashoppers etc. We do not want to suspect the movement generally. But in the workshop we want to show which argumentation we consider as critical. Also we want to bring together the discussions outside Germany and hope on big participation from other countries.
