This workshop covers the basics of computer security from a hands-on perspective, including using encrypted e-mail with public key encryption (GPG), hiding your IP address (Tor), and using beginning to use free software such as GNU/Linux. Very basic introduction to Internet and Web architecture will also be given, as well as general guidance for radicals producing media and communications in this era of surveillance.
