G ATE MY PLANET party at the US embassy in LondonJuly 15 International Day of Action against Climate Change -- AND THE G8!

Campaign against Climate Change are contributing to the July 15th international day of action for climate justice by holding a G ATE MY PLANET party at the US embassy in Grosvenor Square, London on Saturday, July 15th, 2006 from 2pm to 6pm. Campaign against Climate Change is pleased to contribute to this international day of action and also to keep building for our big day, nov 4th when we will be trying to get over 20 countries (last years record) involved in demonstrations to coincide with the Nairobi climate talks.

For more details of the event, and previous CCC events check out the website: http://www.campaigncc.org

G-ATE MY PLANET party, Saturday 15th July 2006

As the G8 leaders meet in St Petersburg we will be staging a "protest party" outside the embassy of the country most responsible for setting a policy direction that can only lead to planetary catastrophe. As long as "Energy Security" is the priority, extreme "Planetary Insecurity" will be the result. Until the global environment is priority number one, G8 leaders will continue to fail the people of the world, and condemn future generations to the hell of 'climate chaos'.

Bring your music, your creativity - or just yourself. Come as one of the G8 leaders, or bring your own "insecure planet"....or anything else you can dream up on this theme ! 2.00 pm to 6 ish outside the US embassy, Grosvenor Square.

See you all next time
