FREE THE 3 ANARCHIST PRISONERS IN GREECE

INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY
FREE THE 3 ANARCHIST PRISONERS OF THE 6 MAY E.S.F. DEMONSTRATION IN ATHENS

The struggle for the liberation of May 6 prisoners is at a crucial point, as two of them are entering a dangerous stage of the hunger strike, being held in isolation inside state hospital. At the same time anarchists in Greece are organizing solidarity actions of many kinds, almost all of them facing state repression (police forbidding demonstrations, attacking and arresting protestors) in an attempt to impose silence around the prisoners’ struggle. (See the end of the newsletter for background information)
International solidarity is of major importance in order to make the voice of the comrades behind bars be heard, in order to support our solidarity actions here in Greece, in order to let the greek state know THAT THE WORLD IS WATCHING!
Every action is necessary!
The least everybody can do is send tons of e-mails to the Greek ministry of Justice (minjust@otenet.gr ) and to Greek Embassies abroad (http://www.embassiesabroad.com/embassies-of/Greece.cfm )
You could send the following:
________
WE DEMAND the immediate release of the 3 demonstrators TARASIO ZADOROZNI, GERASIMOS KYRIAKOPOULOS and KOSTAS KATSADOURAS, who were arrested on May 6, 2006 during and after the international anti-war demonstration of the European Social Forum in Athens.
T. Zadorozni and G. Kyriakopoulos are running the 50th and 34th day of hunger strike, respectively. They are both in critical condition, and are subjected to continuous harassment by both police and doctors in the state hospital of Nikaia.
We also denounce the fact that so far almost all of the solidarity actions in Athens have been treated with repression and brutal force by the police.
ANARCHIST PRISONERS ARE NOT ALONE – INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY IS OUR WEAPON- THE WORLD IS WATCHING!
FREE THE 3 PRISONERS FROM THE 6 MAY DEMONSTRATION NOW!
