Invitation for the next migrationrelated Anti-G8-Meeting - from 5th to 7th of January 2007 in Berlin

Meeting-place: We will meet in the rooms of AGIF which are located at Silbersteinstraße 96 in Berlin. This is close to S-Bahn / metro line U8 Hermannstraße.

Dear all,
we would like to inform and to invite you (again) to the next
preparation-meeting concerning Anti-G8-mobilisation and migration. With reference to the first meeting in Göttingen in October we propose the following agenda:

Friday, 5th of January
(Open Plenary)
6 p.m.: arrival and dinner
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Open plenary with introductional brief summaries about the already discussed plans and preparations for

- activities before the G8 (for example information-events, - -
- Euromaydays,
- Caravan/NoLager-Tour ...)
- activities during the actionweek in June (our participation on the big demonstration at 2nd of June, transnational networking-meeting on 3rd of June, migrationrelated actionday on 4th of June, further participation on the alternative summit ...)
Moreover you can exspect a short presentation of the draft of the call for 4th of June, under the headline "for freedom of movement, equal rights for all" (the draft will be sent out and distributed in advance).
But the inputs all together should be limited to (a maximum of) 30
minutes, the main space of this evening should be given to an open
discussion, with exchange of estimations, collecting more ideas and
proposals ...

Saturday, 6th of January
(main day for working groups)
9 a.m. breakfast
10 a.m.: Brief plenary with a summary from the evening before and for clearifying the working groups (4-6 working groups all together, 2-3 parallel each in the morning and in the afternoon) at least about:

- activities before the G8, mainly about the caravan/noLager-tour;

- preparation of the networking meeting on 3rd of June and of further discussions/conference-panels on 4th of June and during the
alternative-summit (a draft for concept will be proposed in advance);

- preparations for the 4th of June-actionday;

- debate about the draft for a common call for the 4th of June;

- ...

10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: working groups (part 1)
1 p.m.: break/lunch
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: working groups (part 2)
6 p.m.: dinner
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. plenary with reports from the working groups.

Sunday, 7th of January
(Conclusions)
9 a.m.: breakfast
10 a.m. to 12: plenary with summaries, decisions and further appointments for the next months.

Afterwards we want to participate at 1 p.m. in the demonstration in
remembrance of the second anniversary of the death of Oury Jalloh, who was murdered while tied at his hands and feet in a police cell in Dessau.
