Mobilization for Global Justice

The Mobilization for Global Justice (MGJ) is a coalition of individuals and organizations hosting activists from across the nation and around the world to challenge the policies of the IMF and World Bank during their annual meetings.

Jubilee USA Network

Jubilee USA Network is a diverse gathering of people and organizations working towards debt cancellation. The network includes labor, churches, religious communities and institutions, AIDS activists, trade campaigners and over 9,000 individuals.

50 Years Is Enough Network

The 50 Years Is Enough Network builds partnerships to overcome global economic injustice by working toward people's greater control over the resources, structures, and economic policies and processes that affect their lives. The network consists of over 200 member organizations in the US and over 160 partner organizations in other countries.

Forum After a month filled with protests and educational sessions on global and local struggles, we will set aside time on September 29th for Movement Building. We want to dedicate a space in the movement for discussions of strategy and alternatives that will promote earth-centered and people-centered globalization-otherwise known as: environmental, economic and social justice.

What We're Protesting

September 28-29 International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Annual Meetings. Schedule of events and additional information. The IMF and World Bank hold their annual meetings every fall, with two of each three annual meetings held in Washington, DC.

September 26-27 Intergovernmental Group of 24 (G24) Meetings. The G24 consenses on the position of the developing countries on monetary and development finance issues. It consists of member countries from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia.

September 25-27: BusinessWeek CEO Summit, Ritz-Carlton. Attendance is by invitation only. All CEO delegates in attendance must have annual revenues in excess of $250 million, with a majority of delegates coming from firms with annual revenues well in excess of $1 billion.
